Q. WHERE ARE YOU FROM? AND
INTRODUCE YOURSELF.
This is Mr. Paper Chaser
himself, Haze OPC, also known as International Haze. So Official, So Fly, So Lovable, representing Eastern North
Carolina.
Q. WHAT FIRST GOT YOU INTO MUSIC?
I was born with music inside of me. As far back as I can remember, music was always there. I come from a very musical family.
Q. WHO INSPIRED YOU TO MAKE MUSIC?
It’s so many people that I can’t just say one name but as of right now, I’ll say it’s a calling. My family is a big inspiration of mines, music can change people lives and perspectives of life.
Q. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE MUSIC THAT YOU TYPICALLY CREATE?
I’ll say vivid, raw, unique, emotional, inspirational, and real. Majority of my songs have messages because I’m telling a story as well as giving my testimony and speaking life in different ways.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR CREATIVE
PROCESS LIKE?
It’s a feeling and a thought that resides within me that I typically can’t get out unless a certain sound resonates with me. With that being said I have different processes I go through which depends on my environment and the space I’m in during that time.
Q. IF YOU COULD GO OPEN A SHOW FOR ANY ARTIST WHO WOULD IT BE?
Any artist that acknowledges me and gives me the opportunity.
Q. TELL US ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING PROJECT.
If plans don’t change, my upcoming project is called My GOD, Myself, My Family & I. In GOD We Trust. It’s the sequel to the album that was released about 6 months ago. My GOD, Myself & I, In GOD I Trust. It’s a very special collection of songs to me, every song is original and captured a time of growth in my life after some life changing experiences. All I can say is stay tuned I may release a jewel before that.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?
Get my Empire more established as I continuously grow meanwhile becoming the best version of myself to fulfill my purpose. I may drop an EP to accompany the release of this magazine article stay tuned for that also.
Q. IF YOU COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THE INDUSTRY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I wouldn’t change anything because I believe everything, and every person served or is serving a purpose. All I could do is add to it and elevate it even more.
Q. WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU PUSHING RIGHT NOW? WHERE CAN READERS FIND YOU AND YOUR MUSIC?
I just dropped a single called Together which is getting a lot of positive feedback and responses. It’s the first single off my upcoming project. I’m also still pushing my album, which is one, if not the best project to ever come out. You can find my music on your

First, I want to thank My GOD and let everyone know that GOD is real. No matter what you’re going through, continuously fight for what you believe in, never give up and remember we can only do the best that we can with the knowledge and understanding we possess. Don’t beat yourself up over past mistakes or give life to dead situations. To my people, stay true to yourself, stay on your grind, it’s our time to shine. Don’t be scared or afraid to try new things. Like one of my latest singles “Transitions” are a part of life. Big shout out to everyone that has helped me on this journey, you’re very much appreciated.
