Q. Where are you from? and introduce your self.
My name is Zigg TheArtist, I’m from Philadelphia .. I’m not your typical artist, I rap, sing, produce, engineer write and ghost write etc. I’ve been on this journey officially since 2012 and I’ve reached a place in my career where I can say my dreams are coming true
Q. Is it difficult to be a rapper?
Not really, the key to being a successful artist is staying true to who you are, making music that people can relate too, and just keeping it real. Everything after that will fall into place
Q. Who are you inspired by?I’m inspired by a few people. For starters is my son. I think he’s my motivation and inspiration to go hard and never quit . I have no other choice. Far as other artist, I want to say Lil Wayne & Kanye West, what they brought to the game is unmatched and they opened the doors for artist like myself
Q. What music are you pushing right now? where can readers find you and your music.
I just recently dropped my album “Toxic” which is doing numbers !! We almost at 200k on Spotify and the streams going crazy on Apple Music as well.. we are also working on a featured film for the album as well .. my music is on all platforms . Google as well
Q. What makes you different from a lot of artist?
What makes me different is my flow, the beats, the way I structure songs as well as doing everything and hitting every genre. I’m talking reggae rap, rnb, pop etc . I do all that
Q. Tell us about your upcoming project.
My next project will be a soundtrack to the featured film “2 Toxic” all new bangers, new flavors but still apart of the original project “Toxic”
Q. What is your biggest accomplishment as a rapper?
My biggest accomplishment is making it this far and still going, I think the hardest thing as a artist is to stay focused and keep your foot on the gas, you go through so much and a lot may discourage you, but the fact that I’m so consistent and still go hard through every obstacle is what I pride myself on
