He plays guitar, piano and - most importantly - his own voice. Only the drums are purely computer-based, a choice he embraces with a wink. As he puts it:
“For me important is melody. A good song - stripped down to voice and chord progression - must work on an acoustic guitar at a fireside as well as with an orchestra. And I like it rocky because I am quite tall and have low blood pressure. I need hard drums to turn me on.”

Before dedicating himself fully to the arts, he worked in a wide variety of fields - programmer, content manager, journalist, accountant, IT project manager, even CEO of an internet company. He studied Communication Engineering, though he jokes:
“I learnt how to calculate an amplifier. But if an amp does not blast, I put it to trash and get a new one.”
The Name, the Instruments, the Experience
His artist name, ViennaCC, comes from the domain he already owned - chosen after realizing that all the “great sounding names” were taken: “Enervated, I simply took the domain I already owned.”
Musically, he is a multi-instrumentalist:

Percussion: tambourine and, proudly, triangle
He jokes about his percussive ambitions: “My dream is some day to upgrade from triangle to a trapezoid.”
His band experience spans punk, hard rock, rock’n’roll and dance hall. He recalls the latter with a grin: “Dance hall band, OMG, we had 300 songs in stock and played until 4am. Nice money, but a donkey work.”
