Pierre Anthony (@PierreAnthonyCC) - "Love You" (Video)
Being Born in New York, I am used to all kinds of styles of music. Going to church and hearing gospel music influenced me at a very young age to start singing. During the later years, I gravitated to music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. There still is nothing better than listening to old school jams. You can hear their soul in song, I sing from my soul, and you can hear it in my music. Whether it’s about love, sex, happiness or heartbreak, the soulfulness is there.
In my videos, pictures, and dressing style, you can see it through my eyes and throughout my emotions that it’s there and it is real.
BEHIND "LOVE YOU":
It’s giving homage to love. It’s the sentiments and the emotions of when you’re falling in love with a person. The courting, the butterflies in the stomach, the constant thought of how you feel about them. When you listen to the song, it’s about you feel in your head even if that is not the reality of the situation, you can’t help how you feel.
I want listeners to get that romantic vibe, because that embodies the happiness love brings when it’s between to grown adults dating and having a good time with one another.
MAKING OF "LOVE YOU":
As the song writer and artist, the concept plays in my head and then I execute what I envision with my team. Personally, I want the music to speak for itself but also want the style, acting and creativity to resonate with viewers just as much.
Every detail in the video is planned like a production instead of just a simple video shoot. My wardrobe is styled by Kevin Maultsby. The love interest is an actual professional actress, and in the video, she is styled by Safiya Jerome. The props in the video are provided by my label CCC Entertainment LLC and Retro Motion agency who are the producers of the video. My crew is a combination of people I work with on a daily basis, and we shot the video together in areas and places chosen by me and my team that we thought would be the best places for the concept I wanted to showcase.
Everything in the videos “Love You”, “The Fool” and “Lost My Mind” from the “In my Feelings” album, is directed by me Pierre Anthony and Reidge Johannes the video director.
There are more videos in the works, and we are bringing in some new faces and stylists etc. but I can’t divulge to much right now. The takeaway, from all this is to know that it literally takes an entire team to make a project successful although the video starts out as just a concept in my head.
