Brass, beats, and boundless energy—Too Many Zooz and Moon Hooch delivered a powerhouse co-headlining show at The Studio at the Factory in Dallas, TX. From the moment opener Honeycomb took the stage, it was clear this wasn’t just another concert—it was a full-on sonic experience. The beatboxer/musician/streamer captivated the crowd with his live improvised set, even leaping into the audience to perform among the fans.
Too Many Zooz turned up the heat with their signature "brasshouse" sound, led by the electrifying Leo Pellegrino, whose dance moves while blasting his baritone sax were a show in themselves. Drummer David Parks and trumpeter/keyboardist Matt Muirhead kept the energy at an electrifying pitch, crafting an irresistible groove that had the audience moving nonstop.
Moon Hooch followed with their explosive, sax-driven sound, proving that two saxophones and a drum kit can shake a venue to its core. Wenzl McGowen and Michael Wilbur tore through their set with blistering saxophone interplay, while Cyzon Griffin kept the beats tight and relentless. Adding depth to the night, they promoted their initiative with Team Trees, rallying support to plant one million trees—a reminder that their music isn’t just about movement, but also about making an impact. #moonhoochtrees
