Exclusive Interview With Lil Josiey

Lil Josiey, is one of those rare artists who can sing any style and make it sound wonderfully unique.  Lil Josiey, coming from New York City, absorbed so many musically styles growing up from Mac Miller to Jimi Hendrix and other of the classics.  His voice is so innovative, so supple, and he can hit the notes in the stratosphere without seeming to even try.  His heart is on his sleeve, and listening to his songs, you know you are witnessing a man who has been badly hurt and has almost come out on top, though, when he hits the high notes and quavers just a bit, you know he hasn't quite recovered from his sadness.  Check out his song, "Sunset Shawty", and see what I mean.  Though he is young (only 18), he sounds like he has been singing forever and that his life is one that has been filled with events, good and bad.  A great quote of his proves his mission: "Stop looking for your soulmate. Start looking for your soul mate".  His music is a mission to find his true love.
