1. Introduce yourself, who is zwe ?
I was born in liberia west africa. A country that were breaking down by civil war for over years..As a child living in liberia,west africa I expericen poverty and war. Despite everything that was going and taken away from me music was always part of me.. I always had a passion for music. Before the war I was part of the choir in my church there I learn how to playdifferent instruments..During the war my family and I were rescue from the rebles and brought to the united state as refegrees in 2006..Coming to the usa give me the
Oppertunity to fouther my music..Whice I been doing ever since than..
2. How did you entered in this music industry, did you faced any problems?
Coming to the uniter state give me the tools and
Opportunities I needed to move forward with my music.. I had a friend in high schoool that were also doing music. He helped me with my music..I started as an independent artist.. Getting connected with people was my biggest problem..
The difference in my music. The messege and story I was telling a lot of people couldn't relate to..But as time goes by the
Attention grow...
3. Is it difficult to be a rapper?
I never consider myself as a rapper.. I always look at myself as a story teller. Telling my story from my Experience couldn't be any easier..So no its not difficult at all.. However, the style of music I do its called afropop. Some people aren't expose to that kind of music..Its a african style of music with a faster tempo.
4. Tell us about your upcoming project.
I have been releasing my music to the public since 2008 officially.. Ever since than I put out few mixtapes, covers, singles and more..My most recent project am working on now is my prime mixtape..Its called (obo) "Obviously best out" the mixtape is set to release in mid september..The mixtape talks about love, struggle, happeness, and success.
5. What is your biggest accomplishment as a rapper?
As an artist my biggest accomplishment would be making music that thousands of poleople can relate to..Even though my style of music is african music but I wanna reach people from
Different background with my music ..Which as of now I believe I do..But I can reach more..
