EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH P SLUMS

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH PSLUMS

1. where are you from? and introduce yourself.
I’m Pslums and I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I currently reside in Florida in the St Pete/Tampa Bay area.

2. Is it difficult to be a rapper?
It’s not really difficult if you have the passion and ambition to be a rapper. I just go with the feeling and the vibe when I’m creating music.

3. Who are you inspired by?
I’m mostly inspired by old school rap like LL Cool J. I like good music, it doesn’t matter where it comes from. Right now, I like a variety of artists like Drake, Rod Wave, Pooh Shiesty, French Montana, Jim Jones, etc.

4. What music are you pushing right now? where can readers find you and your music?
My music is available on all platforms - Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, WorldStarHipHop, Tidal, Napster, etc. Right now I’m pushing my new single “Trapboy” which can be streamed on Spotify and the video was just released on Youtube. Follow me on Spotify and add “Trapboy” to your playlist.

5. What makes you different from a lot of artists?
I consider myself to be a hybrid artist because growing up in Dorchester and then living in the bay area for 10 years has allowed me to mix a lot of the North with a little bit of the south into my music, sort of like French Montana, and a lot of artists can’t do that. There aren’t a lot of artists who don’t like sound like where they’re from, I don’t sound like your average Boston artist.

6. Tell us about your upcoming project.
I’m going to be releasing a new single every week on Spotify and I have a video shoot on April 23, 2021 for my upcoming single “Bad Bitch” which is now available for pre-order on all music platforms. I’m also working on a new EP “On The Verge Volume 2” that’ll be released in the summer, probably on July 4th, 2021. I also just released a new video “Trapboy” shot by Gil Videos, that’s on YouTube.

7. What is your biggest accomplishment as a rapper?
The biggest accomplishment for me is getting to do a song with my favorite group, Mobb Deep - Big Noyd and Havoc called “RoundTables.” The song is also available on all platforms and the video is on YouTube.

My next biggest accomplishment is to get a million streams on Spotify.

8. Any message to your fans?
Please copy and paste your music and social media links here.
I want my fans to continue to support the movement by streaming the music and following me on Spotify so that they can be up to date on my new releases. I appreciate the support.
